Thank you, Okanagan!
Our short 2025 run through Penticton, Kelowna, and Vernon has wrapped, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for another season of A Rocky Mountain High Christmas. Your support keeps this show alive, growing, and reaching new audiences every year.
With the Okanagan dates behind us, we are now turning our full attention to 2026. Planning is already underway for an expanded series of performances, new partnerships, and some exciting developments we’ll be able to share soon.
Over the coming months we’ll announce confirmed cities, ticket information, and updates on guest artists, symphonies, and special features. As always, the heart of the production remains the timeless music of John Denver and the iconic Christmas arrangements by Lee Holdridge.

TV SPECIAL IN DEVELOPMENT
Alongside preparing for our upcoming 2026 concert season, Rick Worrall has also been hard at work developing a brand-new Christmas TV special—an original story that blends the heart of the holidays with the spirit of John Denver’s music.
We’re pleased to share that we are in active discussions with The Muppets Studio, and they are on board with the concept. This represents a major step forward and adds extraordinary momentum to the project.
The creative team also includes Kenneth Shapiro, celebrated director of Everybody Loves Raymond and long-time technical director for major award shows such as The Oscars, The Emmys, and The Grammys. Ken has been directly involved in shaping the script and is serving as a co-creator alongside Rick.
With additional guest talent and partners being approached, this special is positioned to become a long-term holiday favourite.
How You Can Help
The project is now in active development, and this phase requires key funding—finalizing talent participation, securing distribution, and completing the materials needed to move the special into full production.
